Lord Avon
Lord Avon (エイボン卿 [avon-kyou] or 'lord Avon' in Japanese) is a historical playwright from the world of Gaia in Final Fantasy IX. Not much is known about him, but he wrote the play I Want to Be Your Canary among others, and seems to be one of the most famous - if not the most famous - playwright in the world.
Lord Avon's name is a reference to Stratford-upon-Avon, the street where William Shakespeare lived.
