TCG Chapter III

This is a list of all Chapter III cards in the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game, released on September 2011. The chapter includes 106 regular cards - 4 in Dark and Light, 17 in Fire and Ice and 16 in each of the other elements - and 106 premium cards.

Each booster pack of Chapter III includes 8 cards. Released with the same time with the series were also two entry packs of 50 cards each, the Fire and Ice ones. Each of these included a card not available otherwise, those of 3-007 Zack and 3-028 Sephiroth regular versions. Note that the premium versions can be found in booster packs.

Note that in the lists below, translated names have been used for the cards and their jobs. This is not a reliable indication of which cards bear the same name (and thus can't be on the field in the same time and other such rule-related limitations), as many English-name jobs come from two or more different Japanese-name jobs and vice versa. Be sure to check the original Japanese name of the card for that.

When Zack is played to the field, choose one Forward. You can deal it 2,000 damage.4

Flame Purge (S)(5F)(W): Choose up to two Forwards. Deal 9,000 damage to them.5
Discard as many cards as you want from your hand. For every card that you discard, Deal 3,000 damage to all Forwards.6 When dealing damage to Forwards, instead deal +1,000 damage.7
Meteor (S)(3F): Choose up to three of your opponent's Forwards. Deal them 6,000, 4,000 and 2,000 damage, respectively.

After Genesis has dealt damage to your opponent, your opponent discards one card from their hand.

When you're in control of a Bartz, Boco cannot be chosen by your opponent's abilities.
If Boco and Bartz make a party and attack, they both gain Preemptive Attack.

For every 1 point of damage you have, Warrior of Antiquity gains +1,000 power.
When you have received 6 points of damage, move Warrior of Antiquity to the Break Zone.24
Vincent cannot be broken by any other effects of your opponent than damage.25
Death Penalty (S)(5A)(W): Choose any number of Forwards of cost 7 or less. Break them.

For every 1 point of damage you have, the cost of a Gabranth in your hand is lowered by one.

Spellblade (Thundara) (S)(2L)(W): Choose up to two Forwards that have received damage. Break them.27
Assist - You can summon one Eidolon of cost 6 or less from your hand with no cost. EX Burst
Choose up to one Forward from your Break Zone of cost equal or less than to the damage you've received. Return it to your hand. Your opponent moves one Forward they control of cost equal or less than the damage you've received to the Break Zone.28

When Leonora is played to the field, you can search your deck for a Palom or Porom. If you do so, present it to your opponent and place it in your hand. Shuffle your deck.41 When Lenna is played to the field, choose one Water-element Forward of cost 2 or less from your Break Zone. Play it to the field.
Arise (S)(4Wa)(W): Choose one Forward from your Break Zone. Play it to the field. This ability can only be used on your own turn.

Light

When there's a Golbez on your field you cannot play Man in Black.
You cannot play Golbez to the field.43

When a Forward is played to your field due to Link, Ceodore gains one of the below until the end of the turn.44
"Ceodore gains +2,000 power", "Haste", "Preemptive Attack", "Brave"
Bartz has all the elements and jobs of your Forwards. If Bartz has more than 5 jobs, he gains Haste, Preemptive Attack and Brave and can attack twice in one turn.
For every element other than Light that Bartz has, he gains +1,000 power.

Dark

Brave
When Garland is in Active mode, your opponent's Forwards of cost 2 or less cannot attack.
Haste, Preemptive Attack
Desperado Chaos also has the name of Chaos.45
Desperado Chaos cannot block.
After Desperado Chaos has attacked, move one of your character cards to the Break Zone.
