Rune Fencer
Rune Fencer (魔導剣士 [madou kenshi] or 'magic swordsman' in Japanese) is a job rarely seen in Final Fantasies. It is a tank job that uses the power of elemental runes to control its defenses, and commonly wields a greatsword as its weapon.
While the job's English name is similar to those of Dark Fencer and Rune Knight, and its Japanese name is similar to those of Mystic Knight and Dark Knight (FF3 type), it should not be confused with any of them as it is a separate job entirely.
