Illusionist (幻術士 [genjutsushi] or 'illusion user' in Japanese) is another translation of Conjurer (the two are the same in Japanese). They are users of illusions, illusions so real that they damage the enemy, and sometimes affect everyone in sight indiscriminately. Another job sharing an almost-same Japanese name is Evoker.
An example of an Illusionist is Ezel Berbier from Tactics Advance.
Tactics Advance
Illusionist is an advanced job that requires a lot of MP to use, but in exchange can hit all the enemies on the field with their spells. The job is available to Hume and Nu Mou races. They require 5 Black Mage abilities and 5 White Mage abilities to unlock.

The Illusionist stat growths (see below for a chart of average level-up stat gains) include mainly magic stats. For Humes their MP and Magic Power shine very brightly indeed, although for Nu Mou even those stat gains are only average. In both cases their Speed growth is horrible.
