The Reviving Wyrmlords

The Reviving Wyrmlords (復活の魔王竜 [fukkatsu no maouryuu]) was the third event in Final Fantasy Tactics S. The story of the event continued from Black Crystals of Calamity. As the power of the dark crystals faded, it allowed for the revival of the ancient wyrmlords, and your place was to battle them.

The event ran July 4th to 16th, 2013.

The Wyrmlords

While called wyrmlords, other demonic kings also revived during this event. One of each (wyrmlord and other demonic king) was present in all the quest locations of each starting region. They started at level 1, and each time you defeated them their level would rise by one.
If you failed to defeat a king in one attempt, you could try again. Additionally, after one defeat you could also invite friends to take part in the battle. If they took you up on the offer, you both would receive kill rewards and +1 on death count.
