Crystal Era
An era in Vana'diel, in Final Fantasy XI. Crystal Era is recognized at least in the Middle Lands, it is unknown if the rest of Vana'diel follows this calendar. It started as the inhabitants of Middle Lands witnessed the explosion of Gordeus.
The Crystal War ended in 863 CE, and the events of the game could thus be said to begin around 883 or 884 CE. For further details of events during the Crystal Era, see timeline of Vana'diel.
