The name of the archaeosaur forms of two words, the prefix 'archaeo-' and 'saur'. Archaeo refers to things ancient or primeval, while saur is usually added to the names of dinosaurs.

Description: Being the most ancient of the tyrants known to exist today. Its elongated skull and forward-set eyes are well developed for tracking the movements of swifter prey. When on the hunt, it charges with great strides, keeping balance with its long tail held out behind it. Perhaps due to its primordial nature, this tyrant is possessed of no great wit, preferring to simply attack all that moves, rather than waste time in idle pondering.
