Overview

Lux (ルクス [lux] in Japanese) in Final Fantasy Dimensions is a small kingdom that was annexed by the empire of Avalon some time ago. The reason they were annexed and are free of imperial soldiers instead of being conquered like everyplace else is the Crystal that Lux has. The kingdom is surrounded by high mountains and between those mountains is mainly thick forest and free-flowing mountain rivers.

Lux is home to half the main characters of Dimensions, namely Sol, Glaive, Diana and Aigis.

Locations

Lux has a small-town feel to it and houses mainly residential buildings. Present are Sol's family's house (north-west), Glaive's family's house (east) and Aigis and Diana's house (south-east), as well as several others. As for amenities, the town has an inn, an item shop, and a combined weapon and armor shop.
Right north and east of the town is a chocobo forest where both yellow and white chocobos can be found.

Castle Lux

The Castle Lux (ルクス城 [lux shiro]) is situated slightly north of the town, and is inhabited by King of Lux, who is advised by a minister. Other than the main entrance, beneath one of the statues in front of the gates is an entrance to Castle Lux underground which seems to connect the courtyard to one of the higher floors of the castle. It is infected by monsters.

Crystal Temple

The Crystal Temple houses the Crystal of Lux and is situated far to the north and east of the town. When traversing to it, one must first cross a river east and then head north, take the Northern Cave and then head further north to find its south entrance. The north entrance faces Mt Lux. Mt Lux

The Mt Lux is located north of the Crystal Temple, and features some steep cliffs and dangerous monsters. See more about the mountain on its own page.
